Easy & Healthy Snacks for Children
A snack should include a balance of healthy foods. A snack is not a time to eat highly processed food. Big chunks of any food are a choking hazard, especially for children under the age of 4. Cut raw veggies and fruits into small pieces. Nuts, peanuts, popcorn, large amounts of sticky foods are also choking hazards.
