Sangmesh Jabshetty

Sangmesh Jabshetty, MD joined VNA in 2014 and is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician who also serves as Medical Directors across all VNA Health Center locations. He was awarded the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2005.

Dr. Jabshetty reports to the Chief Clinical Officer and is responsible for the day-to-day supervision for Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Podiatry and Optometry physicians and nurse practitioners across all VNA Health Center sites. Dr. Jabshetty is responsible for overseeing selection, training, orientation and mentoring of provider staff. Dr. Jabshetty provides supervision and peer review for VNA Health Center providers including holding regular staff meetings, individual review/discussion of productivity reports on a monthly basis, new employee and annual written provider evaluations including clinical observation and individual coaching. Dr. Jabshetty participates in Quality Improvement and Medical Risk Management and audits provider charts on a regular basis for accuracy and appropriate patient assessment and initiation of appropriate treatment and follow-up as indicated.

Dr. Jabshetty completed his residency in internal medicine at Saint Francis Hospital, affiliated to the University of Illinois, Chicago in 2012. He also served as Assistant Professor (Hospitalist) at Texas Tech University Medical Center in El Paso TX from 2012 until 2014.
