VNA Health Care - 2021 Annual Report
VNA welcomed Governor J.B. Pritzker in Spring 2021 to launch the State’s COVID-19 Pandemic Health Navigator Program. The program’s goal is to integrate community health organizations and public health partners to coordinate access to critical resources like meals, medicine, and support for unsafe living conditions during the pandemic.
COVID-19 Vaccination Testimonials
COVID-19 is still a threat to people who are unvaccinated. Some people – including children – who get COVID-19 can become severely ill, which could result in hospitalization, and some have ongoing health problems several weeks or even longer after getting infected. Even people who did not have symptoms when they were infected can have these ongoing health problems.
VNA worked tirelessly to protect our community against this unseen threat through vaccination and testing. The community members below were among the many who benefited from VNA’s efforts and have generously shared their reasons for getting vaccinated.
“It brings me joy to do what I was asked to do. I will be keeping my family safe, my daughter safe, and my community safe.”
– Angelina D.
“I want to do my part to get the community back together.”
– Doris M.
“The more people that are vaccinated, the safer the world will be.”
– Chanda D
“I feel more confident now that I have my second vaccination.”
