Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the U.S. Having regular mammograms helps reduce your risk. A mammogram takes only about 20 minutes, and most women say it is only a little uncomfortable.
Our trained bilingual staff will answer all of your questions about the mammogram. Both Medicaid and most private insurance companies cover 100% of mammography. Qualifying uninsured women also may be able to receive the mammogram at no charge.
If the mammogram detects anything abnormal, you may need to have a diagnostic mammogram. Our women’s-health case managers will support you throughout this process.
Uninsured women with a recent diagnosis of breast or cervical cancer submit a ‘fast track’ application to get Medicaid coverage for treatment. VNA staff will assist you with this if it is needed.
If you’re already coming to VNA for your regular women’s physical, your healthcare provider will order the test when you need it.
IBCCP offers eligible women:
VNA is the lead agency for IBCCP in Kane, Kendall, Kankakee and Will counties. VNA Health Care facilities in DuPage County refer eligible women to the DuPage County Health Department.

On Thursday, November 26, in celebration of Thanksgiving Day, VNA locations will be closed.

On Friday, November 27, all clinics will reopen from 12pm-4pm.

WIC Temporarily Closed
Please note that WIC services located at 400 N Highland Avenue, Aurora, IL will be closed July 15-17 for the transition to EBT cards. Services will resume on Monday, July 20th. If you need immediate assistance, please leave a voicemail at 630-892-4720 and we will return your call.
All VNA Health Centers will close early at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 25th for computer upgrade.
